The best thing about being well is that we will have the conditions to be able to help others so that they can discover and follow the path towards a life full of vitality and health. To that extent, we will be contributing to the recovery of this intoxicated society in all areas, from the spiritual, through the mind and body, achieving that the welfare of some will be that of all. Learning from all these benefits will help us increase our quality of life.

EIGHTH PRINCIPLE OF THE NATURAL LAW: Cleanliness and Personal Hygiene

Within the Natural Law that governs our human existence, the Eighth Principle has to do with personal Hygiene and Cleanliness.

This principle says that it is necessary to shower at least once a day and change your underwear. This is very important since our body eliminates toxins through sweat. If we do not shower and change our clothes, these substances will be reabsorbed again by our body through the pores.

In addition to this aspect, the daily shower gives us emotional benefits, as it tones the nervous system.

A shower with warm or cold water after waking up stimulates blood circulation and strengthens your defenses, making you strong for the day. If you take it as a habit, you will notice that you will feel less sensitive to the cold, and when you get warm, you will warm up more quickly, because the cold water closes the pores.

If on the contrary, what you want is to take a relaxing bath before going to bed to sleep better, then it is more advisable to do it with hot water.

Cleanliness and personal hygiene without chemicals

That's right, it brings more benefits to our body using natural components, so I suggest that you use lemon juice to rub the hair and the whole body, instead of soap and shampoo.

You can start doing it once a week; The ideal way is to start with a hot shower to open the pores; Then rub with the lemon juice and finish with a cold shower. On the other days, you keep the shower only with water.

I also do not recommend that you use deodorants because they cause intoxication problems. For our personal hygiene and hygiene, sweating is necessary to eliminate toxins. Those of us who have an adequate diet, do not have a bad body odor because, we do not dirty our organism with unhealthy products like meats, sausages or dairy products.

DECALOGUE OF THE MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL LAW, EIGHTH PRINCIPLE

The Eighth Commandment of the Law of God can be read in Exodus, 20:15, and it says: "Thou shalt not steal."

In his Epistle to the Romans, 13: 7-10, St. Paul develops a little more what this command implies: "Pay everyone what you owe; to which tribute, tribute, to which imposed, imposed; whom I respect, respect; whom he honors, honors. Do not owe anyone anything, but love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. For you will not commit adultery, you will not kill, you will not steal, you will not say false testimony, you will not covet, and any other Commandment will be summarized in this sentence in one: you will love your neighbor as to yourself. Love does not harm our neighbor; so the fulfillment of the Law is LOVE ".

The observance of the Divine Law cannot be done from the legalistic point of view; we accept it and fulfill it for love of God and our neighbor, by the grace of God, the power of Christ and the help of the Holy Spirit. This is the proof that our faith is sincere.

In conclusion

We are responsible for caring for and maintaining our physical body in the best conditions of health and harmony. To this, we must consecrate our lives, since we cannot give glory to our Creator with sick bodies and minds hindered by our negligence.

As he says verbatim: "Keeping the body in a healthy condition, so that all parts of the living machinery act harmoniously, should be the study of our life. The children of God cannot glorify Him (the Creator) with sick bodies or dwarf minds. Those who indulge in any kind of intemperance, (that is, abusing the quantity, even of the good, healthy and natural), whether in eating or drinking, waste their physical energy and weaken their moral power. Our bodies are the property acquired by Christ, and we are not at liberty to do with them as we see "CRA.18,19" Advice on the Diet "of E. G. White.

According to the word of God, remember:

The Apostle Paul, in his 1st Letter to the Corinthians, 6: 19,20, warns us: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in you, which you have from God, and which are you yours? Because you have been bought by price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

This idea is strongly reaffirmed by St. Peter in his First Letter, 1: 18-25: "Knowing that you were rescued from your vain manner of life, which you received from your fathers, not with corruptible things but with the precious blood of Christ, by which you believe in God, who raised him from the dead... Having purified your souls by obedience to the Truth, to practice fraternal love not feigned; Love yourselves, then, with one another with a pure heart. Being reborn, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible by the Word of God that lives and remains forever, and this is the Word that is proclaimed by the Gospel”.
